We have lenses in front of the eye that focus images on the internal backside. It is also known as the
retina. The retina is the part where the eyes focus an image of an object. Our retina is covered
through special nerve cells, which transform light into a stimulating signal, which is transmitted
through the optic nerve to the brain, where it picks up the particular image. Any condition in the
retina severely impacts a person’s vision.
