But the real cherry on top of our stay were the two lovable dogs owned by the resort owner. One of them, a 7-month-old Great Dane, stole our hearts. Although we didn’t go on a banana boat ride ourselves, we did have the pleasure of watching others enjoy the thrilling adventure. The banana boat ride was happening at a nearby resort, and it was so fun to see people zooming across the water, laughing and cheering. It’s definitely something we would love to try next time!
Fresh Seafood and Local Delights
One of the highlights of our time in Medellin was the fresh seafood. We were treated to a delicious spread of freshly caught seafood by our relatives, including saang (a local shellfish) and fresh fish. The flavors were incredibly fresh and gave us a true taste of Cebu’s coastal cuisine. It was a special experience to enjoy these local delights with family, making our visit even more memorable.
